To improve ergonomics, the preload valve has been moved internally; it is covered by a protection that can be removed with a special metal clip.
This particular choice allows the hand to adapt perfectly to the grip and the index finger can easily reach the trigger even when using 5 or 7 mm thick neoprene gloves.
The oversized hilt and elongated stock with non-slip finish allow the tire to be moved in the water easily.
Line release: The lateral helical line release allows the line to remain perfectly close to the barrel, simplifying handling and preventing it from getting tangled on rough seabed surfaces.
The wire setup is simple and intuitive, the size of the lever simplifies the operation of fixing the monofilament
even with thick gloves.
The helical wheel that acts as a line release returns to its position automatically. (The Predathor is the only pneumatic tire on the market to adopt this system)
Vacuum Header: Salvimar is the first Italian company to have fitted as standard on a tyre the header with a rubber cup seal to make the internal barrel of the tyre watertight. A unique seal for 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8 mm diameter rods (description in previous catalogue)
The VACUUM Head with Seal allows the Predthor pneumatic rifle to have unique and superior performance compared to a traditional pneumatic rifle, ease of loading (less loading pressure), better pneumatic trim in the water (the air remains in the barrel instead of the water), more shooting precision (the recoil is reduced because the piston only pushes the rod), silent shooting (the cushioning bushing is more performing).
Dark side: Equipped as standard with the Race Kit (trigger with screw that adjusts the sensitivity, lightened piston with grease containment chamber for less friction)
100% Cardonio tank made in Italy and tested one by one at 100 bar pressure.
The specific weight of carbon combined with the greater buoyancy allow the Dark side to be fitted with 7.5mm shafts as standard with dedicated bead and washer with a 45 degree angle, maintaining excellent hydrostatic trim.
