The Smart Apnea computer is the evolution of Nemo Apneist and has become the reference computer for spearfishermen and the most demanding freedivers. The Smart Apnea is very simple and intuitive to use and offers a large variety of functions.
Smart Apnea has an apnea mode with functions specifically dedicated to the needs of freedivers.
The Smart Apnea computer can operate in watch mode or in dive mode. In watch mode you can change settings, review your logbooks with details of the times and depths reached, download data to your PC and much more.
In dive mode it is possible to control depth, time, rate of descent and ascent, temperature and other parameters that can be set on the surface.
Smart Apnea has a backlight function that can be activated in case of low ambient light.
It can record profiles of around 20-30 hours of diving, depending on the number of dives per session and the duration of each, assuming a 1 second detection interval. Using the separately sold USB clip, information can be transferred to a PC via the Dive Organizer software or to a Mac via the Divers' Diary software.

Smart Apnea dive computer care and maintenance
Depth accuracy must be checked by an authorized Mares dealer every two years. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each dive (avoid chemicals) and replace the battery when necessary. We recommend that you read the instruction manual carefully.
