Collar for Horizontal Freediving
We designed and built this tool to allow you to achieve perfect trim during freediving.
Our Collar (Registered Design) was designed to shift the center of gravity of the weight from the neck to the posterior apex of the lungs.
The elongated design relieves the cervical spine of excess weight and achieves better trim.
The two "Wings" are shaped to prevent the Collar from rotating and are filled with nucleated lead shot.
The nickel plating prevents the formation of oxide.
The two "Wings" contain a fixed weight of 500 grams: total weight of the collar 1 kg.
You can add weight to the Collar through the two pockets until you reach your ideal "weight."
Both pockets can hold up to an additional 1 kg: Maximum weight: 3 kg.
MATERIALS
The Best Divers Collar is made from a combination of premium materials:
– BLACK or RED EXTERIOR in original Cordura
– PADDED INSIDE in water-repellent Airnet Spacer Plus
ADJUSTMENT AND CLOSURE
We chose the Velcro closure to ensure quick release if necessary.
The collar can be adjusted from size 38 to 48.
THE COLLAR IS SOLD WITH A BASE WEIGHT OF 1 kg.
